Having debuted only two years, seven seasons ago, Edward Crutchley has risen to be one of London’s top present day designers. Crutchley didn’t fail to please audiences expecting to see modern luxury ensembles of incredibly detailed textures with high quality fabrics at the forefront. Classical influence can be seen in the treatment of tailoring as the models are draped in long swooping tops and bottoms adorned in Victorian era floral prints. Gender has become irrelevant here as contoured men are seen walking the show in floor-length gowns, and shapely corsets.
